Have you ever wondered where the qualities that most of us aspire to incorporate into our lives exist? Where does love reside? What about serenity, peace, and forgiveness? Are they out in the world waiting to be discovered or happened upon, or are they within? Why do some people have these qualities in abundance and others appear not to have any at all?

Editor's Note from J. Stewart Dixon: Adi Da was my first spiritual teacher and the one who opened my heart to mystery, truth, seeking and suffering. Occasionally it's good to hear about these matters from big gurus.  In our modern times it's easy and fashionable to throw big teachers and gurus out with the bath water.  Not advisable in my opinion...  Adi Da was a great teacher.  I'm always grateful to hear his wisdom.

Holidays give you an opportunity to look at the bright side of things, give thanks for the blessings in your life and cherish the loving relationships that fuel you, including your relationship to a Higher Power...

Editor's Note from Sandra Miniere: The holidays can be challenging for those who are dealing with a life crisis, such as, the loss of a job, death of a loved one, a health crisis, conflicted relationship, and more. This article shares four ways I coped with the death of my parents just weeks before Christmas one year apart. I allowed the holiday spirit to lift me out of my grief at times and surround me with love, peace and comfort. Continuing with the rules from The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale, I’m presenting Rules 2 and 3. As a reminder, Chapter 1-Believe in Yourself, Dr. Peale, suggested that we need to build our self-confidence. These rules are to help increase your self esteem and encourage you to feel empowered and encouraged to take the steps to make the positive changes for yourself...

I’ve begun reading and practicing the Power of Positive Thinking written by Norman Vincent Peale. I had heard of it before, but this was the first time I’ve actually purchased an eBook for my reader (I’m in love with it), because of a suggested reading from the Law of Attraction.

In Chapter 1-Believe in Yourself it suggests following 10 rules to build up your self-confidence...

The energy of the season seems to pick up earlier and earlier each year. It's not just the advertisements and sales that begin before Thanksgiving; it's a sense of urgency that seems to permeate the air.

Editor's Note from Sue O'Callahan: Do you find yourself swept up in the holidays, rushing about town? If so, this is an excellent read for adopting new strategies for creating an enjoyable holiday season. Deb Schnitta offers an easy to use tool for creating a holiday experience filled with the joy, grace and ease as well as throughout the new year.

A friend, who is a former Co-Editor of Sacred Living, introduced me to All Things Healing. They were looking for a Co-Editor for Exercise and Fitness. I checked out the site and their passion – healing body, soul, spirit and planet - resonated with me...

After working with Bess here at ATH for the past year, I thought I knew what makes her tick.
