Naturopathy

by Greg Lee, LAc

Similar to opening Pandora’s jar, taking enzyme supplements for breaking up biofilms can release hidden pains.
At a recent seminar, medical practitioners were shown how earthworm enzymes are able to break up slimy biofilms and uncover hidden Lyme disease bacteria. A biofilm is a protective slime that bacteria and other germs encase themselves in to avoid being killed...

Editor's Note: Lyme Disease is awful to have and difficult to treat. One of the factors complicating treatment is the protective biofilm the bacteria surround themselves in that is difficult for the antibiotics to penetrate. Once the biofilm is penetrated and the bacteria are killed, they release toxins which cause a Herxheimer reaction. In this article, Greg Lee, LAc who focused his practice in treating Lyme and other chronic diseases discusses these issues. He mentions representative Chinese herbs which calm the mind when toxic emotions are released.
