Nadi Shodhana: Purifying Breath


Editor's Note from Brooke Nisbet: Nadi Shodhana Pranayama (or channel cleaning breath) in yoga, has many benefits. It lowers heart rate and reduces stress and anxiety. It also synchronizes the two hemispheres of the brain
Additionally, it is said to purify the subtle energy channels (nadis) of the body so the prana flows more easily during pranayama practice. You usually practice this breath before your yoga practice. Namaste.
