The Jamie Oliver Foundation is a registered charity whose mission is to empower, educate and engage as many people as possible to love and enjoy good food. This means learning how to cook, understanding where food comes from, and recognizing the power it can have on our health, happiness, and even finances. The Foundation does this through teaching, training and employment, and also by making good clear information available to as many people as possible.
Editor's Note from Eden Kozlowski, ATH Supervising Editor: This wild-haired, funny, inspiring man has taken it on his shoulders to show Americans and the world how important food is to our health and the importance of educating our children about what they eat. One Charity. One Problem. One Goal.
Unlike many charities that do many different things, The Smile Train mission is focused on solving a single problem: cleft lip and palate.
Clefts are a major problem in developing countries where there are millions of children who are suffering with unrepaired clefts. Most cannot eat or speak properly. Aren’t allowed to attend school or hold a job. And face very difficult lives filled with shame and isolation, pain and heartache.
The good news is every single child with a cleft can be helped with surgery that costs as little as $250 and takes as little as 45 minutes.
This is our mission:
-To provide free cleft surgery for millions of poor children in developing countries.
-To provide free cleft-related training for doctors and medical professionals.
Until there are no more children who need help and we have completely eradicated the problem of clefts.

Working for Peace – One Child at a Time
No More Victims (NMV) is a grassroots organization that connects American communities with war-injured children and their families. Community participants band together to learn how the child was injured, assess the child’s current situation, and work to meet the most pressing needs of the child and family.

"If the State can tag, track down and force citizens against their will to be injected with biologicals of unknown toxicity today, there will be no limit on which individual freedoms the State can take away in the name of the greater good tomorrow."
