Editor's Note from Andrea D'Amore: A friend of mine sent me this recipe saying that she topped it with fresh fruit and it was to die for. I plan on trying them this weekend topped with peanut or almond butter for some extra protein. Also, I am going to do half wheat and half oat flour as well as add some ground up flax for some extra omegas...

Caution! Seriously addictive! These are sort of a cross between a Tootsie Roll and a traditional brownie...

Editor’s Note: These brownies are so easy to make and very healthy. You don't have to avoid treats over the holidays or any time of year. Indulge in this tasty healthy alternative! The good news is that you don't need to stop at one!

Editor's Note from Michelle Cordani: Simple yet full of health benefits! Did you know that Vitamin A as beta carotene comes from eating Orange veggies. Most people also do not know that it helps hormone issues especially Acne. They have immune benefits and are anti inflammatory. Andrea Beaman is amazing. She cured herself from Thyroid issues.

Editor's Note from Michelle Cordani: Wow what a nutrient rich recipe. All the vitamins and minerals you need for a meal. To name a few Omega 3, Vitmain A,folic acid., calcium. And vitamin D. It would be great for breakfast as well as quick dinner meal! I always tell my clients to eat from the rainbow...green, orange, white and i would throw in red and yellow as well. You could experiment in adding more. Enjoy.

Editor's Note from Andrea D'Amore: This is a wonderful recipe that can be used to replace the traditional egg nog of yesteryear, or, even better, added to your normal juice and smoothie regimens because it is loaded with health benefits. Almonds, which are the base of the "milk" used in this recipe are incredibly nutritious. They are a major source of bioavailable magnesium, which is huge because it is estimated that 80% of the Western population doesn't get enough magnesium.

Ya’ll probably know that when I post a recipe, it’s going to be ‘my’ version of the dish.  No, I might not adhere to the strict guidelines of what ingredients a normally in the dish, but I can assure you that whatever I usually boho, it’s a yummy version of the original...

Editor's Note from Michelle Cordani: Everybody can cook chicken, but we are always looking for different ways to cook it and this is a nice change. Ally has some great different recipes and a great facebook page with a collection of interesting recipes.

Editor’s Note from Andrea D’Amore: For those of you who are new to juicing, carrot juice is one of the easiest and best places to start experimenting, as it will introduce your body to some of the wonderful benefits juicing has to offer.  First, carrots are full of beta-carotene, which is converted to vitamin A in the body, and very, very beneficial to the health of your eyes, skin, bones, teeth, hair and nails...

I’m thankful for pumpkins, for sugar, and for this pie. Don’t worry that it won’t look ready when you first take it out of the oven—it sets as it cools...

Editor's Note: To continue my recent obsession with pumpkin recipes, here is a fabulous one by one of my favorite vegan chefs, Sarah Kramer. I'm getting hungry just looking at the recipe on my computer screen!
