Healthy Aging and Cognitive Fitness
I'm aware that to age optimally I should do aerobic exercise 30 minutes a day 4 to 5 times a week, strength training a couple days, practice meditation or yoga, read or study, be part of a social community, eat a healthy organic high protein low carb diet full of fresh fruits and vegetables, etc. My challenge is that when I add up all the time involved in these activities, I would have to cut my work schedule in half. How do you balance physical and cognitive fitness with work and family life? How can we integrate these positive lifestyle activities into a schedule that still allows us to sleep the recommended 8 to 9 hours a day? Balance is my aim, but I honestly find it challenging!
