Seven Enlightening Reasons to Study Spiritual Counseling
by Phillip Mountrose and Jane Mountrose

Editor's Note from Natalie Jovanic: Are you a coach, therapist or counselor and you are unclear which direction you want to go? I never really fit into any of the mentioned categories, and even though I call myself a "Heal Your Relationship Mentor," it goes into the direction of spiritual counseling. If you feel currently stuck, read this article by Phillip and Jane Mountrose and find out whether spiritual counseling is the way you want to go.

Do you feel your life purpose calling? Do you long to help others in the most meaningful possible way and do something meaningful with your life? You may be drawn to spiritual counseling and wondering if this is the right direction for you.

What is Spiritual Counseling?

Let's take first things first. People have different ideas of what a spiritual counselor does. Here we are talking about counseling that helps people to integrate the vast realms of spirit into their daily lives. This goes beyond the teachings of a single religion into the truths that weave their way through all of the world's major religious and philosophical traditions.

There is a spirit source that connects us all, which is our greatest source of love, power, healing, aliveness, and awareness. With quantum physics, science has now proved that this is true. Spiritual Counseling has the potential to help people to connect with this spiritual source and experience miraculous lives.
Read these reasons for becoming a Spiritual Counselor and ask yourself if any of these sound like you.

The Seven Reasons

1. You love life and you love people. You are happiest when you are with other people. You enjoy connecting with them and uplifting them.

2. You enjoy Teaching. You love learning and understand that life is a learning process. You enjoy sharing information and helping people to find meaningful solutions to their challenges.

3. You seek personal fulfillment. You are self-directed and long to do something that is deeply meaningful to you. You want to move beyond the ordinary and create an extraordinary life.

4. You feel a calling. You are excited and passionate about life. You know you are all here for a reason. You want to live fully, and feel inspired to serve others.

5. You recognize the power of Spirit. You want to help people to awaken their spiritual awareness, and create a strong connection with their spiritual source.

6. You can overcome limitations. You know you can help people to address challenges that hold them back so they can create clear directions for their lives.

7. You understand infinite possibility. You want to help people to experience life fully and become aware of possibilities that they never imagined before.

If this sounds like you, the good news is that you are embarking on a magical journey. Involvement in this profound spiritual work becomes more and more exciting with the passage of time. As you reach greater levels of understanding, your ability to help others deepens.

Final Thoughts on Spiritual Counseling

Each of us is here to expand, grow, and live life fully. We are only limited by our perceptions of ourselves and our possibilities. We all have infinite potential that is waiting to be realized. At best, spiritual counseling helps people to let go of limits and awaken to their infinite potential. Imagine what being a part of this awakening can mean to you.
