 Coconut Waffle Recipe



Editor's Note: A friend of mine sent me this recipe saying that she topped it with fresh fruit and it was to die for. I plan on trying them this weekend topped with peanut or almond butter for some extra protein. Also, I am going to do half wheat and half oat flour as well as add some ground up flax for some extra omegas.

Besides having a wonderful flavor, coconut, the water, the meat and the milk has many health benefits, which are noted at the end of the video. And while it doesn't apply so much to this recipe, coconut water is an excellent source of electrolytes for people looking to replenish them without having to consume high fructose corn syrup and other additives found in sports drinks.
