The Sleep Secret: How Much Do You Really Need?
by Elaine Seiler

Please note that the following is the view of the author, is not endorsed by this publication and is in no way a substitute for the advice of a medical practitioner.

Most medical professionals stand firm in the belief that you need 7-8 hours of sleep per night. This may have been true in the past. For a number of reasons, I believe it may no longer be true in 2012 and beyond.

There is also mounting evidence that 7 out of 10 adults and 69% of all children have sleep problems on a regular basis. These numbers are staggering? Is it possible that something is going on here that has been missed?

2012 is a new world. New vibrations from the outer reaches of the universe have been coming onto the planet since the mid-80s. These vibrations are faster than those that existed before. As the vibrations around us speed up, so our internal vibrations have to do the same. It is said that the heartbeat or pulse of the earth, once thought to be 7.8 cycles, is now calculated at 12 Hz and is increasing every year. Time appears faster than ever before. A 24 hour day seems about 16 hours or less (http://www.2012.com.au/SchumannResonance.html).

I believe that the beat and pulse of our human vibrations has also increased, in order to match and harmonize with the vibrations moving around and through us.

As the rate of vibrations on the planet and in each of us changes, each human being’s range of frequencies changes as well. Our frequencies become faster, but our range or number of frequencies becomes smaller. Now, here is the odd part of this story.

As an ice cube requires a certain temperature in order to remain frozen, so do we humans need a certain range of frequencies to go to sleep, and to remain asleep. This required “sleep density” is created by the number of frequencies in our bodies. If the number of frequencies diminishes significantly, we will sleep less. And that is exactly what seems to be happening across the planet.

So how do you cope with this new situation? First and foremost, do not stress if you are sleeping less than you think you should. You need not become ill, as is predicted by the authorities – unless, of course, you join the consensus reality and believe you will.

In 2012 and beyond, we as a species will need less and less sleep.

Secondly, allow yourself to take cat naps when your life permits them. A short snooze may be all your body needs to give it the energy for the rest of the day. You may be astounded at what you can do on far less sleep than you thought possible.

Perhaps this change in your sleep habits is a significant marker in the suggested energetic evolution that is taking place quietly and subtly right before your eyes.
